The Final Good-Bye

When you truly care,
so much about someone,
it's hard to believe,
when their life's almost done.

With all of your deepest, darkest feelings,
and actions you wish you'd done.
You can never fully appreciate,
what you've got until it's gone.

While you know that they'll have go,
you refuse to leave their side.
Although you know God's choice is best,
you still can not help but cry.

While you are together on Earth,
you know you'll join above in the sky.
Until that time comes, however,
this moment is your final good-bye.
