With you by my side,
I'll get through my life.
With you as my guide,
I'll endure all of its strife.

I'll keep holding on.

When I get old,
and it feels like the end.
I'll look back at my life and
still cherish my friends.

With all of my dismay,
and all I've been through.
I know in my heart,
you'll be there, its the truth.

When you're far away,
I wish you could teach,
Life always seems harder
when you're just out of reach.
