Today I handed in the keys for my old apartment at Hawthorne Ridge in Woodridge, IL. As this was my first apartment, I have mixed feelings. I lived there from October 26, 2005 until today, October 31, 2008. It feels weird in a way. I’ve really gone through a lot in my life since I first signed the lease. So many things have come to pass, yet all essential in my life-long quest for truly being independant. As I kept saying during my move (and my movers will vouch for it) it still feels very sureal. I even shed some tears walking back to my car after handing the keys in. Needless to say, I’ve attached pictures of the place. One day I’ll be able to look at my kids and tell them this is where I first was able to spread my wings and fly towards the sky…

Well, I have found and configured what I need to to get my photo galleries running properly. Hip, hip, hurray! I even already put one online chronologically where it should be. Only umpteen more to go!
Must sleep…
I love you Katherine.
Edit: I also managed to fix the smilies engine. Not that anyone would notice because my subscriber base is so massive. Cheers!

In honor of this election season, I just wanted to express my support for my candidate.
To sum it up, the last president from Illinois did outstanding things for this country, and I have full faith this one will too.

I just wanted to update everyone and let them know I am currently testing out a few different templates for what I ultimately envisioned my photo galleries would look like and function. I have a few right now that show some promise. Once I find the one I want, I can finally transition the blog to the forefront of the site and start on some necessary back-end upgrades that I need to get done.
On another note, I get to help my cousin LIsa move tomorrow. Yay!

Well, I got my internet and cable hooked back up yesterday. It feels good to be able to browse at my own leisure. After the move, life seems to finally be falling back into order. Like always, I can complain, but life’s too short. Work is still dragging. I really don’t see things changing as I was told they would. Unfortunately it means I’m looking for new ventures to pursue.
The move itself really set me back financially, but tomorrow is payday, so hopefully I can rebound fairly well. As for the new place, I have lots of space. Heck, I even have my own office now! Katie and I are doing very well. Who knows, maybe she’ll find a present under her pillow sometime in the near future
Well, there is still some unpacking to do, so I must tend to the inevitable. It’s great to be back!

A shout out to my buddy Lee, who with all of his bountiful hobo lessons, managed to turn yet another year older.
Congrats on your birthday man!
For those wishing to see what he’s up to in life, check out his site.

Saturday marks the day I move to my new condo. I’ve managed to wrangle enough slave labor to build a pyramid in Egypt. Anyway, lots of packing and other stuff with life to finish up. Once I get settled, I should be able to get the things back on track and really make this site showcase what I envisioned from it.
Good things to come!
Saturday can’t come and go soon enough!
