Love

What is love?
Is it a disease?
It strikes without warning,
and brings you to your knees.

It can be the best thing,
that you have ever felt.
So, why does it hurt so much,
when bad times have been dealt?

You can say that you care,
until your heart is bent.
Love can only be true,
if it’s kept from going to end.

You can say that “You love me”,
and I hope that it’s always true.
My one and only worry is,
what is thought when it’s said to you.

I really mean the words I say,
and I very, truly do.
And I know that there is a good reason,
that God brought me to you.

He must have had a purpose,
for us to care so much,
about each other’s hearts,
and feeling that go untouched.

For me to always be with you,
I’ll always have to show I care,
I try to do it all the time,
and then I do it in my prayers.

No matter what it takes,
and whatever I have to do,
from all the good times and the bad,
I am sure we’ll make it through.

I am the doing the best I can,
to make God accept me too,
I know for sure that when we die,
I want to be next to you.

It really is so hard to keep,
good things together for long.
But if we work together,
I know we’ll never go wrong.

I know that God knows something,
that he has not told you or I,
but I hope that he wants me,
to always be right by your side.

If that’s the way he sees it,
I will not argue with that,
but if he takes me away from you,
I will pray he brings me back.

My heart is in the right place,
when I say this line to you,
I hope you’ll mean the same to me,
when I say that “I love you”.

Love Will Find A Way

Whether the dark of night,
or the light of day,
or the rain pouring down,
love will find a way.

From the distance apart,
we will always stay,
together forever because,
love will find a way.

I will miss seeing you,
each and every day,
you’ll always be in my heart, and
love will find a way.

With God as my witness,
every time I pray,
you’ll never leave my mind, and
love will find a way.

No matter what comes between us
no matter how far you’re away,
and no matter who tries to stop it, our
love will find a way.

Only A Dream

Each night I look up,
at the big crescent moon,
I gaze at the stars,
and then I think of you.

I glance at the clouds,
as they fill the dark blue sky,
I take a deep breath,
and then I wonder, why?

Why fate has blessed me,
I may never begin to know,
but for now I have feelings,
deep in my heart to show.

As time goes on,
and the bright sun fills the sky,
I wonder and dream,
what will happen in time.

When I am with you,
my joys out-weigh my fears,
because when I see your true self,
it is so pure, it brings on tears.

I turn to my side,
and see you sitting there,
I am looking in your eyes,
and you look back to show you care.

I think and I wonder,
then we talk for a while,
in the end it’s worth it,
because I get you to smile.

I gaze in your eyes,
as they twinkle like a star,
I hope we always stay near,
and never drift apart.

As we get closer,
and we close our eyes,
we take all of our worries,
and set them aside.

We are face to face now,
and it’s by both fate and luck,
from here on in,
I don’t want to mess up.

While we’re about to kiss,
it’s better than it seems,
but when I open my eyes,
I realize it was only a dream.

Heaven’s Call

On this Earth,
there are some things.
They are all that you need,
for your life to succeed.

The first of these,
will always be there,
it is a God,
to listen to your prayers.

The next in line,
is a bunch of faith,
when you feel lost,
it will guide you straight.

Soon follows hope,
to help you get through,
the good times and the bad,
and bring the lord to you.

Later comes patience,
that gives you time to,
think about what are the best,
actions for you to do.

The last in line,
you may not ever need,
it is someone to hold you,
when you are worried.

If you can manage,
to get them all,
you will have all you need,
to reach heaven’s call.

Loving You

When I think of you,
a smile comes to my face,
because in my heart,
no one can take your place.

My God, my lord,
has brought me to you,
to help us make,
a love so true.

A star up above,
twinkles in the sky,
it reminds me of the times,
when I was by your side.

Whatever it takes,
or whatever I have to do,
or whatever comes between us,
nothing can make me stop loving you.
